Northeast Division Enduro Series Rules for 2010

1. Series Points

a. Points will be awarded as follows: 1st = 12; 2nd = 9; 3rd = 7; 4th = 6; 5th = 5; 6th = 4; 7th = 3; 8th = 2; 9th = 1

1 point will also be earned for each start

b. Points earned will be the same for each enduro, regardless of length.

c. Points will be earned by the team - year end trophies for class champions only, with only one trophy per team

d. Certain classes must be included in all enduros - AS, ITA, ITB, ITC, ITS, ITR, ITE, SSB, SSC, SM, SSM, T2, and T3

e. Other classes may be allowed but they will not be eligible for series points.

f. Teams must start at least 50% of available enduros to qualify for year end trophies.

g. Entrants must declare a team name under which series points will be credited.

h. Eligible classes will receive preference for entry until the late entry deadline.

i. Protests based upon “non-eligible” class competition influence will not be heard.

j. No track records may be established during any series event.

2. Series Rules

a. Any pit stop involving the opening of the fuel cell or a driver change must last a minimum of two minutes.

b. Enduro must be a minimum of two hours in length.

c. There must be a mandatory meeting with the Chief Steward of at least one driver and one crew member (if any) from each team.

d. All refueling equipment shall be subject to the approval of the Chief Steward. (Replaces “Refueling by D.O.T. style dump style cans only with no overhead rigs allowed.”)

e. All refueling personnel must wear protective clothing including head gear.

f. Series logo stickers must be displayed on each side of the vehicle. Stickers will be provided by the organizers at no cost to the competitors.

3. Administration

a. This series will be self-supporting, with all administrative costs and trophies to come from assessments received from regions hosting enduros.

b. The host region will be assessed $10 per eligible team on course for that enduro.

c. Since this will be a division wide series, it will be administered by the NESCCA steering committee and/or NEDiv Council, thus utilizing the treasurer

d. A series pointskeeper will be appointed and series trophies secured independently of other NEDIV/NESCCA awards.
